We spent a few days at Sanibel Island in the middle of May 2022. We really enjoyed the “old Florida” feel of the island. It is so peaceful and not crowded in most places. We spent most of our time in Sanibel relaxing on the beach and in the pool near our hotel. The beach is very pretty and we had great luck finding seashells here. We saw quite a few live sand dollars.
