Dance Performance & Coronado Resort – 10.21.22
Friday, October 21st was the day of the girls’ dance performance at Disney Springs. We also fit in some fun around the resort! We started the day getting our girls fed and dressed for their performance. Once they boarded their bus at Coronado to be taken to their performance, my husband and I got on a bus to Disney Springs. We arrived well before the performance, but wanted to be sure to have plenty of time for buses. Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios – 10.20.22
Today included a dance workshop, some relaxing Animal Kingdom time, and a fun visit to Hollywood Studios. This Thursday started with a dance workshop for my girls and a visit to Animal Kingdom for me and my husband. The girls were away for about 4 hours for their workshop. My husband and I decided to go to Animal Kingdom during that time. We were mostly interested in wandering around, soaking up the atmosphere, and taking pictures. This day was a transition day from our first couple days to the dance portion of our trip. After a late night flight and an early morning start to a full park day, we needed some sleep this morning. We all slept in, got ready, and took a ride share to our next hotel with our luggage. After getting settled into our new room at Disney’s Coronado Resort, we spent the rest of this day relaxing and traveling around Walt Disney World. We were able to combine a vacation at one of my very favorite places, Walt Disney World, with an amazing dance opportunity for our daughters in October of 2022. We spent 10 days in “the world” split between vacation time and dance time. We arrived in Orlando late at night on Monday, October 17th. We started the Disney vacation part of our trip right away with Animal Kingdom early on Tuesday, October 18th. What We Did We used the Disney bus to get from All Star Movies to Animal Kingdom. Our family made a quick stop at Walt Disney World at the end of our Florida trip in May 2022. We were able to stay 2 nights and have one day in the Magic Kingdom. My girls and I always love any chance to seek some time in any Disney bubble!
