This day was a transition day from our first couple days to the dance portion of our trip. After a late night flight and an early morning start to a full park day, we needed some sleep this morning. We all slept in, got ready, and took a ride share to our next hotel with our luggage. After getting settled into our new room at Disney’s Coronado Resort, we spent the rest of this day relaxing and traveling around Walt Disney World. We were able to combine a vacation at one of my very favorite places, Walt Disney World, with an amazing dance opportunity for our daughters in October of 2022. We spent 10 days in “the world” split between vacation time and dance time. We arrived in Orlando late at night on Monday, October 17th. Nashville, TN
We spent a long weekend in Nashville, TN in January 2022. We chose Nashville because my younger daughter and two of my nieces were competing in a gymnastics meet there on this weekend. Adding a couple extra days to the weekend gave us a chance to explore some of Nashville. What We Did Some of the famous murals of Nashville were our first stops. The Museum of Miniature Houses My mom, my girls, and I visited the Museum of Miniature Houses in Carmel, Indiana in August of 2021. This is a place I have wanted to visit for many years. My mom and I have enjoyed miniatures for years and have built some miniature houses at various times. The museum did not disappoint! They have many fascinating displays to see. They have some very old dollhouses and dollhouse furniture displayed. There are many dollhouses from a variety of time periods fully furnished in different styles. Magic Kingdom – 05.22
Our family made a quick stop at Walt Disney World at the end of our Florida trip in May 2022. We were able to stay 2 nights and have one day in the Magic Kingdom. My girls and I always love any chance to seek some time in any Disney bubble!
